With the sales of Ultra High Relief Gold Coins for 2009 totalling 108,794 so far this year, now is a timely reminder that the US Mint will be withdrawing sales of UHR Gold Coins at midnight on December 31 2009. In the last week alone there were 587 sales of the UHR coin.
Originally priced at $1,189, the price has fluctuated according to the market price of gold, therefore with the steady increase in gold price, the cost of UHR gold coins has also steadily increased realising around $1,537 at the time of writing (gold averaging from $1,150 to $1,200.00).
